Vivian Uhl Gayler
Tulia - Vivian Uhl Gayler, 94, died Thursday, November 25, 2004.
Services were at 2:30 P.M. Saturday in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Karel Smith, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial was in Rose hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Gayler was born Janurary 23, 1910, in Dallas County. She grew up there and moved to Plainview in the early 1920s. She married Robert Gayler on Janruary 28, 1925, in Plainview and moved to the Center Plains Community in Swisher County. She was a housewife and a member of Kress Study Club, and the First Christian Church in Tulia.
Survivors include a son, Bob Gayler of Boise City, Three daughters, Helen Parker of Boise City and Marie Vaughn and Nancy Jones, both of Tulia; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
