Vivian Gayler
The Church lost a gentle Warrior with Vivian's passing.
Her's was the smile that greeted you when you walked into the Tulia church. She had a special way of making you feel genuinely welcomed. It was a lovely gift she passed on to her daughters.
You just knew by her sweet countenance that the Lord was shining through her. A stranger to our church told me the first time she met Vivian, she could tell just by looking at Vivian that she was the heart of our church.
She knew her Bible better than most people and lived by it's teachings. Her generosity was well known, even though she always gave privately and wanted no acknowledgment.
While we grieve at her passing, we can also rejoice with the angels in heaven at the welcome God has prepared for her there.
Lord, we thank you for Vivian Gayler and her life here on earth. The example she set for us and the love she showed us. We are all better people for having known her.
