Jack Wayne Smart married Lillian Proctor, daughter of Paul Wayne Proctor and Anne Catherine Mayhugu, on 8 March 1958 at Falls Church, Virginia.

     Daniel Franklin Smart was born on 25 March 1932 at Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. He was the son of Mancel Franklin Smart and Esther Maxine McGhee. Daniel Franklin Smart died in October 1983 at Watsonville, California, at age 51.
