     John B. Lusk John served in the Union Army, Company A, 1st Alabama and Tennes se Vidette Cavalry. He enlisted on August 28, 1863 the same da y as his father, William Oliver Lusk, in Larkinsville AL. Ambus hed at Hunt's Mill on September 26, 1863, by a Confederate uni t assigned to the 4th Alabama Cavalry. John was listed as one o f 18 casualties in the battle.John was imprisoned in a Virgini a POWcamp. He died at the Richmond Military Hospital on Octobe r 25, 1863, most likely from Typhoid.
